Little do people know how much I love Pearls from Steven Universe. I literally died of excitement when Mega Pearl appeared, her apearance hardly based upon Revolutionary Girl Utena one of my fav anime and manga of all time. I want to think Pearl and Volleyball were always meant to resemble Utena and Anthy´s relationship.
