Concept of the "Cursed Princess" The only daughter and sole heir to a prosperous and distant kingdom, she was born with a small sprout of a plant unknown at the time. As she grew, so did the plant, gaining consciousness each day. Unlike other ponies her age, her tail was her only friend and companion. Although she was the heir to the throne, this did not prevent the other ponies of the kingdom from speaking ill of her behind her back. When the rumors reached her parents, they decided that she would not be a suitable candidate to be crowned queen. Lacking a suitable heir for the role of leader, and with the shame and disappointment, the king and queen decided that when Nature came of age,they would seal her in stone.
