My own take on a redesigned Light Fury. I could rant for hours on end about why I despise the 3rd movie and why it's a stain on the franchise and its themes as a whole, but focusing just on the Light Fury here... She is not a character. She is a plot device. Something to look pretty and make you go "hey, remember when Toothless was fierce and powerful and fast?" The designers literally said they couldn't make her too 'dragon' or else she wouldn't be female enough. What about Stormfly and Meatlug?? Here she's a semi-aquatic dragon, with darker scaling on top to blend in when looking down, sharp teeth for catching fish, and webbed claws. Her time being captured left her scarred and fearful of humans.
