Mossy foxes have a symbiotic relationship with an anti-bacterian mold that cover their entire body, turning their fur color green. They have a plant and insect based diet, allowing them to thrive in diverse environments but it is noted that they prefer to hang around cave entrances where insects are abundant. Size ranging to ~45 cm in height and~1m in lenght including the tail . They possess specialized cells in their eyes that can detect the amount of mana in an area, the brighter their eyes glows the higher the mana concentration is. This ability coupled with a cute aspect and practical size make it a perfect companion for adventurers. Some reports mentions a fungal infection that can occur in secluded and mana rich environments. The infected foxes are far more agressive, gets way bigger and starts hunting in packs preys that range from small rodents to human sized creature. It is suspected that rescaping preys and carrions left by the foxes help spreading the fungi hence the behavioural changes.
