Someone on Tumblr drew Sonic as Pit on the Kid Icarus Uprising 3DS game cover. In that moment I had a jolt of inspiration, which only got furthered by my best friend finding a picture of Amy dressed up as Princess Peach. So, I did what any sane person would do, and mashed the two pictures together to create this! My eraser was my best friend for this, not for erasing but as a blending tool which is how the background looks blurrier. I should do that more often! And more royal-core fantasy music served as good background music as I drew this. Made me think of the Greek myths Pit is based on- and Peach matches to a tee. And since Sonic and Amy are basically canon? Got my imagination running (no pun intended).
