This is a drawing of a train caught in another reality, possibly parallel. The old lady's sign says "Pies with kittens". "Pies with kittens, they eat them, they squeak" is a phraseology, a metaphor. In Russia, as you know, it is not customary to eat cats. This expression can be used when something unexpected happens. Also, this expression has a different meaning. There is a horror story for children that unscrupulous citizens replace beef meat with cat meat in the dining room or at train stations in order to save money. But this is just fiction. In my art, it is more used more as a scarecrow black humor or a display of another reality. I haven't thought this point through yet. And the name of the town may change.
